Manxmove was launched from a home office in Douglas as an online Estate Agency on 18th April 2011 and, despite the difficult climate and local property market the company has grown rapidly. The directors of the company are Graham Wilson and Ian Lloyd who collectively have over 30 years local property market experience. Neither Graham nor Ian were prepared for such rapid growth and it was clear after a few short months that the business had taken off, which resulted in some very long and unsociable hours for the initial small Manxmove team.
After about 12 months of burning the candle at both ends it was clear that an increase in staff was urgently required and this also resulted in a change of location from a small home office to our own modern office in The Old Bakery, Victoria Road, Douglas IM2 4HD. Since then the company has continued to go from strength to strength and has also grown in staff numbers to where it is today with four qualified Estate agents, two secretary PAs and a receptionist.
In 2015 we also expanded our offices again into a much larger ground floor office in The Old Bakery which we had completely refurbished and branded with our Manxmove colours and signage. Customers can now park right outside the door and visit our state of the art offices during office hours to discuss their property requirements.
